Mayflower School District is soliciting bids for a maintenance truck that will be removed from the fleet. The truck will be sold “as is.” Details are below. -2008 Chevrolet 2500 HD Crew Cab -279,000 miles -6.0 V-8 gas engine; The motor appears good, but the transmission is not. -Full Disclosure: IT WILL LIKELY NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION -The heat and air work; Tires have over 50% tread left. The bid submission deadline is Friday, June 30, at 5:00 PM. Submissions will be considered in writing to Doug Jones or via email at djones@mayflowerschools.org.
